**Principal functions**:
- Lead shipping schedule and notify involved departments or clients about arrival dates.
- Negotiate with local, and foreign transport lines and Insurance agencies as well, specially at Customs agencies, authorizing payments.
- Supervise the tracking of the ongoing material and drive investigations to find root causes of damages. miss charges or extra expenses on fleets and insurance.
- Oversees import/export documentation expedition, keeps actualized information of import/export costs, licenses and restrictions from MEX-US Customs.
- Help to elaborate Maquila programs at SECOFI, generates and present mandatory reports on SAT.
- Responsible of thrust, traffic system accomplishment, MEX-US customs normativity accomplishment.
- Keeps integrity in Traffic System (Prices, Inventory).
- Prepare and administrate department objectives and budgets.
- Responsible of recruit, train, develop,



motivate and act as a facilitator per his/her Staff. Responsible of administrate the performance of the people on his/her command. Also, is responsible to maintain ad promote interdepartmental harmony.
**Job Specifications**:
- Reports to Plant Manager
- Receive reports from Import Export Customs supervisor, Traffic Assistant, Import/Export Customs Coordinator.
- People to lead1 to 10
- Required Scholarship: Professional title or equivalent experience.
- Experience required: 5+ Years at Customs area.
- English Level required: Advanced (Read and write that permits create fluid presentations of projects and/or participate on negotiations processes.
- Requires high communication and negotiation skills.
