**Job Description**:
- Responsible for accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions.
- Assist in corporate month end close process.
- Provide comments for the monthly results.
- Interact with operations and financial teams.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- Support to forecasts, budgets and exposure analysis.
- Support year-end audits; provide auditors with schedule and reports.
- Ensure documentation of policies and procedure; update instructional documents as needed.
- Continuously monitor controls and recommend improvements and/or changes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Team player - able to communicate with other team members and external customers.
- Multi-task: work simultaneously on projects.
- Knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry is a plus
