Epic Integration Analyst.
The Epic Integration Analyst – Bridges is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining system interfaces that enable seamless data exchange between Epic and other internal or external healthcare systems.
This role ensures the integrity, reliability, and security of clinical and administrative data integrations using Epic’s Bridges module and interoperability standards such as HL7 v2, FHIR, and X12.
Key Responsibilities.
● Design, build, and configure new interfaces between Epic and third-party systems (e.g., laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, billing).
● Monitor and troubleshoot interface message flows to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.
● Analyze business and clinical requirements to translate them into technical interface specifications.
● Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to test, validate, and deploy interfaces in production environments.
● Perform proactive monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades of interface engines and Epic Bridges connections.
● Document interface configurations, data flow diagrams, and change management activities.
● Provide on-call support and participate in integration testing cycles during project go-lives.
Required Qualifications.
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, BioMedical or a related field.
● Minimum of 0 – 2 years of experience in systems integration within a healthcare environment.
● Proficiency in System integrations and familiarity with interface monitoring tools and log analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
● Working knowledge of network protocols , data mapping , and message transformation .
● Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or X12.
● 1+ year using HL7 standards for integration work, preferably with CorePoint, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, IRIS/HealthShare, or other common integration engines.
● Experience integrating Epic or other EHR platforms with third-party healthcare systems.

● Travel is required for Epic certification training, client site visits, and project-related activities.
● Valid passport and visa are required for travel to training sessions or client engagements.
● May require participation in off-hours support and system maintenance windows.
