About the Position
Tortillería Jenny is looking for an organized, analytical, and highly responsible Inventory Control & ERP Analyst to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory information across our branches and warehouses.
This position is responsible for recording inventory transactions in our ERP system, including purchases, incoming materials, transfers, returns, waste, adjustments, and finished products.
The selected candidate will also reconcile physical inventory against ERP records, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with different departments to ensure that all inventory movements are properly documented.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and high-responsibility position that requires strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and availability during inventory counts, monthly closing periods, and operational peaks.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily incoming merchandise, raw materials, supplies, and finished products in the ERP system.
- Enter purchases, invoices, inventory transfers, returns, waste, and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for warehouses and company branches.
- Verify that every inventory transaction has the appropriate documentation and supporting records.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts against the information recorded in the ERP system.
- Identify and investigate inventory shortages, overages, data-entry errors, and pending transactions.
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly physical inventory counts.
- Monitor inventory movements and transfers between branches.
- Follow up with warehouse, purchasing, production, accounting, administration, and branch personnel.
- Prepare inventory, discrepancy, waste, and transaction reports.
- Maintain product catalogs, units of measurement, warehouse information, and inventory-related data.
- Assist with monthly inventory closing processes and internal audits.
- Develop and recommend controls to reduce errors, losses, and inventory discrepancies.
- Follow up on unresolved discrepancies until they are properly documented and corrected.
- Support the implementation and improvement of inventory-control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, administration, accounting, or inventory data entry.
- Experience working with an ERP system is required.
- Previous experience with Avattia Enterprise ERP is preferred.
- Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of inventory receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, reconciliations, and physical counts.
- Ability to analyze discrepancies and identify errors.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Availability to work on-site in Tijuana and assist during inventory counts and monthly closing periods.
- Fluent Spanish is required; English proficiency is a plus.
