Role Overview We are looking for an energetic and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our IT Service & Infrastructure team. In this hands-on role, you will provide technical support to local and remote employees, assist with IT hardware and software deployment, and gain real-world exposure to enterprise IT management within a high-tech engineering environment.
This internship is ideal for a computer science or IT student eager to apply academic knowledge to corporate IT infrastructure, networks, and technical helpdesk operations.

- IT Helpdesk & End-User Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT inquiries via ticketing systems, email, and phone.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues for local and remote staff (Windows/macOS environments).
- Assist with user account creation, access management, and password resets in Active Directory / Microsoft 365.
- Support the setup, imaging, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals for new hires.
- Help maintain physical and virtual IT inventory records (workstations, licenses, accessories).
- Assist with basic software installations, including specialized engineering tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, where applicable).
- Support local network maintenance, Wi-Fi connectivity checks, and conference room AV setup.
- Assist IT administrators with basic server, firewall, or cloud system maintenance tasks (e.g., Azure / AWS basic management).
- Participate in routine system back-ups and data security health checks.
- Update internal IT knowledge base articles,
standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
- Assist in rolling out new IT security policies, software upgrades, or company-wide technology initiatives.
Qualifications & SkillsRequirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, System Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of PC hardware, operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS), and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory).
- Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional local languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German) are a plus.
