How will you make a difference?
The role supports the NPI Buyers and the whole Supply Chain group, and will report to the NPI Fulfillment Leader. Communication will be key in this function, either externally with Suppliers, and internally mostly with Materials Planning, Logistics, Shipping/Receiving, Finance, Project Management, Supplier Quality Engineering.
Monitor supplier development schedules; work proactively to highlight risks and identify potential impact to delivery schedules.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor's degree or 80% of the credits completed
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, materials, and/or Sourcing.
- Availability to be at the site al least 3 days per week.




- Avaliability to travel ocasionally

What will your typical day look like?
- Keep Tools and Systems duly updated with the latest information available
- Direct RFQ activities to ensure timely supplier quotations
- Analyze purchasing requisitions and take actions as necessary
- Issue purchase orders and complete all PO maintenance activities
- PPAP execution; monitor and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary
- Tracking of material to ensure delivery on a timely manner
- NCMR (Non-Conformance Materials Report) - Review weekly report of non-conforming material from suppliers and begin return work authorization with suppliers
- Review No Promise trends; work proactively to make sure suppliers continue to ship on time for future orders
- Part handoffs - complete standard work weekly to hand off parts that meet requirements to the production fulfillment team
