About the Role

As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll help build the data infrastructure that powers VEMIO's AI platform. You'll work with data from ERP systems, CRMs, POS platforms, APIs, and other business sources, transforming it into reliable datasets used by analytics and AI applications.

You'll collaborate closely with Product Engineers, AI Engineers, and the CTO in a fast-paced startup environment where your work will quickly reach production.

What You'll Do

- Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Clean, validate, and transform customer datasets.
- Develop reusable data models for analytics and AI.
- Monitor and improve data quality.
- Integrate data from APIs, databases, spreadsheets, and cloud platforms.
- Support AI and analytics projects with production-ready datasets.
- Document pipelines and engineering best practices.




- Continuously improve performance, automation, and scalability.

What We're Looking ForRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Software Engineering.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Solid SQL knowledge.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and relational databases.
- Experience using Git.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn.
