Position overview: As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer reporting to the VP of Engineering Quality, you will be responsible for helping to produce a high-quality product for the project users.
- Responsibilities: Actively share knowledge and experience through mentoring, documentation of technical and thought leadership in internal-facing activities
- Participate in sprint meetings such as sprint planning, retrospectives, demos and standups
- Test sprint tasks based on Acceptance criteria




- Review acceptance criteria for each task and interact with product owner in order to make the criteria comprehensive and clear
- Use product understanding to understand, identify and test potential impact of code changes on other parts of the system
- Find defects before they reach the production server
- Create manual test cases for full coverage of product functionality
- Other Quality Assurance tasks as required
- Confidence being the single QA within an Agile software development team
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both one-on-one and in the context of a team
- Experience using defect tracking software such as JIRA
- Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail
- Nice to have: Familiarity with the insurance industry
- Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks such as SAFe
