Role: L2/L3 Production Support Engineer
Location: Guadalajara (GDL) / Mexico City (CDMX) – Hybrid
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced L2/L3 Production Support Engineer to support and maintain business-critical applications in a fast-paced production environment. The adecuado candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with application support, and the ability to analyze, debug, and resolve complex production issues while collaborating with development and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 application production support and resolve production incidents.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug application issues using SQL, Java, and Unix/Linux.
- Monitor application health,
identify root causes, and ensure system stability.
- Escalate critical issues, manage incidents, and coordinate with development teams for timely resolution.
- Automate manual support tasks and contribute to SRE initiatives to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Required Skills
- 4–10 years of L2/L3 Application Production Support experience.
- Strong experience with SQL, AWS, Unix/Linux, and Java .
- Good understanding of databases, coding, and debugging.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills .
