TUOPU is looking for an IE Launch Planning Engineer / Factory Simulation Engineer

Location: Monterrey / Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico

We are looking for an IE Launch Planning Engineer / Factory Simulation Engineer to support the planning and launch of a new manufacturing facility for automotive interior door panel programs.

This position will be responsible for factory layout planning, capacity simulation, production flow analysis, manpower planning, equipment utilization analysis, material flow planning, warehouse space evaluation, and bottleneck identification. The adecuado candidate should have strong Industrial Engineering knowledge and experience using factory simulation or manufacturing planning software such as FlexSim, Siemens Plant Simulation, AnyLogic, Simio, Visual Components, DELMIA, Arena, or similar tools.

- This is not only a software operation role. The candidate must be able to connect customer demand, process flow, cycle time, OEE, manpower, equipment, material flow, warehouse space, and production ramp-up planning into a complete and executable factory launch plan.
- Key Responsibilities




- Develop factory layout plans for new production programs and new plant launch projects.
- Build and analyze manufacturing simulation models using FlexSim or similar factory simulation software.
- Evaluate production capacity based on customer demand, cycle time, OEE, shift pattern, equipment quantity, manpower, and process flow.
- Identify bottlenecks in production, logistics, warehouse, packaging, inspection, rework, and shipping processes.
- Support planning for injection molding, lamination, assembly, inspection, rework, packaging, warehouse, and outbound logistics areas.
- Analyze material flow, WIP, finished goods inventory, rack circulation, warehouse space, dock capacity, and internal logistics routes.
- Prepare manpower planning, equipment requirements, area requirements, and production ramp-up plans for new programs.
- Work closely with Project, Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, and EHS.
