General Description:

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing supply chain and logistics activities within the company, ensuring efficiency in the warehousing, transportation, and distribution of products. This role requires effective communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize processes and minimize operating costs.

General Mission or Objective of the Position:

To guarantee the efficient and timely management of logistics resources, facilitating the continuous flow of materials and products from their origin to their final destination, thus contributing to the achievement of the company's commercial and operational objectives.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Plan and coordinate transportation and distribution operations, manage inventories and warehouses, negotiate with suppliers and carriers, monitor logistics performance indicators, identify opportunities for process improvement, ensure compliance with internal regulations and policies, and collaborate closely with other departments to guarantee customer satisfaction and resource optimization.

Requirements

Educational Level: University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.





Knowledge and Skills: Advanced proficiency in logistics management systems (ERP, WMS), knowledge of supply chain management, inventory planning, and transportation. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Experience and Competencies: Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, operations coordination, and supplier management. Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and results-oriented.

Special Requirements: Availability for occasional travel, intermediate or advanced English proficiency, and a valid driver's license.
