**POSITION PROFILE**:
- Manage the design, construction, development and implementation of injection molds and tooling required to support the development of new products and existing products.
- Manage the design, construction, development and implementation into the manufacturing plant of secondary equipment such as sonic welders, heat stake machines, clip machines and end of arm tooling (etc.)
- Manage the design, construction, development and buyoff of check fixture gauges Update standard tooling specification(s) as required for use in all tool builds
- Evaluate mold flow analysis and perform manufacturing feasibility studies and design reviews as necessary
- Provide support and direction to tooling vendors and molding suppliers
- Identify improvement opportunities for tooling and process

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION**:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience including manufacturing processing/ tool work
- Development of tooling for Plastic Injection Interior and Exterior products
- Injection molding knowledge/expertise
- Knowledge of rotary two shot injection, Rim Molding and Gas assist would be a plus
- Ability to use Mold Flow for the development of injection mold design is a plus
- 3D CAD experience is a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills for Supplier/Customer interface
- Ability to work in a team environment.

This position requires the ability to manage the flow of data, perform analysis, generate summary reports and communicate by voice or data while being connected in the office, at home or while travelling by laptop or mobile device regularly without regard to time zone or day of the week.
Pay: From $34,000.00 per month
