The MAC Specialist is responsible for the management, and support of Apple devices (macOS and iOS) within the enterprise environment. This role ensures seamless integration of Mac devices with Microsoft Intune and enterprise systems while delivering high-quality technical support to end users.

A key focus of this role is providing premium, high-touch support to executives and senior leadership, requiring professionalism, discretion, and rapid issue resolution.

The position requires strong technical expertise in the Apple/Windows ecosystem, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Role Objective To provide high-quality and effective enterprise Mac support by quickly diagnosing and resolving macOS and iOS issues, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft Intune and maintaining uninterrupted end-user productivity, while flexibly supporting broader IT operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. High-end user support

- Provide Level 2/3 support for macOS and iOS, with priority, high-touch support for executives
- Deliver a white-glove support experience, ensuring rapid response and minimal disruption
- Support engineering users working in Unix-based environments, including troubleshooting terminal, permissions, and development-related configurations.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently

1. Device Management

- Configure and manage macOS and iOS devices using Apple Business Manager and Microsoft Intune
- Support automated device enrollment (ADE/DEP) and ensure proper provisioning and configuration
- Maintain device compliance with enterprise standards in coordination with IT and Security teams • Utilize Jamf Pro (or similar MDM tools) to enhance device management and control
- Perform diagnostics, reconfiguration, and preparation of devices for deployment and redeployment

1. Enterprise Integration





- Integrate Apple devices into the enterprise environment using Microsoft Intune and Entra ID
- Implement and maintain security controls, including encryption (FileVault), compliance policies, and conditional access
- Ensure adherence to organizational IT security and governance standards.
- Assist in improving and standardizing Apple device integration processes across the organization

1. Collaboration & Cross-Platform

- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of Mac device management processes.
- Support a hybrid environment (Mac and Windows) to ensure consistent service coverage
- Assist with broader IT operations, including device troubleshooting, user support, and system configuration
- Contribute to overall IT team objectives, ensuring efficient utilization of resources
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain service levels, coverage, and support continuity across platforms

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5+ years of experience in enterprise IT support, with a strong focus on Apple devices.

Technical Skills

- Strong experience with macOS/iOS in enterprise environments and device management using Intune and Apple Business Manager
- Working knowledge of Jamf Pro or similar MDM tools
- Ability to support hybrid environments (Mac and Windows)
- Solid troubleshooting skills across end-user, hardware, and software issues, including executive support
- Familiarity with Unix-based systems for engineering user support
- Basic knowledge of Windows support and enterprise identity systems (Entra ID/Azure AD)
