Move plant maintenance practices from asset-level management to structured autonomous and professional maintenance routines, producing Standard Maintenance Procedures, a CMMS-ready machine tree, and validated AM/PM calendars for the CMMS platform (Prometeo).
Key responsibilities
- Review and validate the asset list and criticality ranking for stamping, welding and assembly equipment.
- Develop Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs): task steps, safety alerts, frequency, tools required, safety points and expected duration, aligned with plant owner sign-off requirements.
- Build the equipment machine tree for CMMS Prometeo: hierarchy, equipment coding logic, and parent/child relationships, cross-checked against installed assets.
- Define Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Professional Maintenance (PM) calendars by area/line, including ownership and escalation rules.
- Validate the calendar pack with production teams before upload to the CMMS.
- Identify gaps between current maintenance practice and target standards, and drive practical improvement with plant maintenance teams.
- Ensure all deliverables (SMP library, machine tree, AM/PM calendars) are prepared in a CMMS Prometeo-ready format with clear acceptance evidence.
Required profile
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance engineering, asset care, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or reliability engineering, ideally in metal stamping, welding or assembly environments.
- Practical experience designing or implementing Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) and autonomous maintenance routines.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS systems (machine tree structuring, equipment coding, calendar/routine setup);
- Hands-on, shopfloor-oriented approach;
- Fluent in English and Spanish;
- Availability for extended on-site presence.
