Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate industrial robot cells (layout, tooling, sensors, interlocks) for manufacturing workflows
- Program and debug robotics and controls logic (robot programs, PLC sequences, IO mapping, alarms)
- Integrate machine vision, safety systems, and conveyor/servo motion for reliable handling and inspection
- Create and maintain documentation (IO lists, SOPs, FAT/SAT checklists, risk assessments) Support commissioning, ramp-up, and continuous improvement using OEE, downtime analysis, and root-cause methods
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and vendors to meet throughput,
yield, and compliance targets
Required Qualifications
- Mid-senior experience in manufacturing automation or robotics integration
- Strong controls fundamentals including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks
- Machine safety principles (risk assessment, guarding, interlocks, E-stops) and change control
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/controls issues using logs, traces, and structured root-cause analysis
Remote Work Notes
This is a remote, full-time role. You will collaborate with distributed teams and coordinate with on-site technicians/vendors for commissioning planning and troubleshooting support.
