**Your Job**:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, evaluating, and implementing control systems and programming PLC/HMI and Robots for fully automated machines. These machines support operational improvements according to business requirements and regulations. You'll ensure that productivity metrics of automated machines are maintained by designing schemes and work methodologies that prevent premature failures. You'll assign these maintenance schemes to technicians for execution.

**What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with design and operations teams to ensure new and improved designs reflect process requirements.
- Participate in developing control standards and specifications by incorporating lessons learned and identifying gaps from each project, ensuring smoother future projects.
- Troubleshoot control-related downtime events on production lines.
- Maintain, modify, and properly version control equipment programs, configuration files, and documentation as changes are implemented.
- Improve and add features to PLCs using Ladder Logic and/or Structured Text, focusing on organized, structured, documented, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Implement and modify control-reliable safety systems for safeguarding robots, gantries, conveyors, and other high-volume manufacturing equipment.
- Train Production and Maintenance teams on proper equipment use and troubleshooting from the HMI.




- Research and evaluate HPC manufacturing processes for proposing automated improvements impacting production line revenue and availability.
- Work closely with R&D;, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Production Engineering teams to ensure workstation designs meet business requirements.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**:
- Experience in the cables and harnesses industry, preferably with fully automated manufacturing machines.
- An engineering background in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Proficiency in programming industrial equipment using IEC 61131-3 languages.
- Experience writing standard and safety PLC projects from scratch for high-volume equipment using Rockwell or Siemens.
- Experience creating HMI projects from scratch for high-volume equipment using FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware, TwinCAT HMI, or similar.
- Advanced conversational Engilsh level
**What Will Put You Ahead**:
- Experience setting up, programming, and troubleshooting industrial 6-axis robots like Yaskawa.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting fieldbus networks such as Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, or Profinet.
- Reviewing and approving electrical schematics for automation equipment using various voltage circuits.
