The MRP Buyer is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of materials by effectively managing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system. This role ensures material availability to support production schedules while optimizing inventory levels and maintaining strong communication with domestic and international suppliers.

Responsabilities:

- Manage and execute purchase orders generated through the MRP system.

- Analyze material requirements based on production schedules and customer demand.

- Issue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.

- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, order status, and shipments.

- Resolve material shortages and expedite critical components to support production.

- Monitor inventory reports and material consumption trends.

- Maintain and update MRP parameters, including lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQ), safety stock, and reorder points.





- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing and material planning processes.

- Prepare and maintain purchasing and inventory performance reports and KPIs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

- Advanced English proficiency (required).

- 2–5 years of experience in a Buyer, MRP Buyer, or Materials Planner role within a manufacturing environment.

- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.

- Strong knowledge of material planning, procurement, and inventory control.

- Experience managing domestic and international suppliers.

- Experience with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, QAD, or similar ERP systems.
