Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the staff. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and, at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Familiarity with NPI Projects Execution
Lean and 6 sigma methodologies; 8D, DOE, etc
Ability to interact with independent projects at the same time.
Responsabilidades / Actividades Drive execution of the NPI schedule on a daily basis
Work with Operations to allocate the resources to support NPI builds.
Manage the indirect people/functions that support the execution of a build.
Provide status to individual project owners in terms of build status.
