About The Role What if your instinct for thinking like an adversary could directly shape how AI understands cyber threats? We're looking for Offensive Security Analysts to analyze real-world attack paths, adversary behavior, and defensive failures — helping train and evaluate the AI systems that will define the next generation of cybersecurity. This role is focused on structured adversarial reasoning, not exploit development.
If you can map how threats move through systems, identify where defenses break down, and explain risk clearly — this role was built for you. This is a fully remote, versátil contract role with meaningful work and serious impact.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract

Classify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps with structured, expert-level reasoning
Review and evaluate red-team style scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and depth
Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data used to train and benchmark frontier AI systems
Clearly articulate attack chains, business impact, and security tradeoffs in written form
Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in pentesting, red team operations, or a blue-team role with deep offensive knowledge
You understand how real attacks unfold — from initial access through lateral movement and impact
You can explain complex attack scenarios clearly, concisely, and without jargon when needed
Naturally analytical and structured in your thinking — you model threats systematically
Comfortable working independently on task-based assignments without close supervision
No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK;, the Cyber Kill Chain, or PTES

Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, high-impact work
Apply your offensive security expertise to a rapidly growing field at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity
