Hello Latinos LLC is an online English academy created to help Spanish-speaking students across Latin America develop practical English skills for their personal, academic, and professional growth.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and student-focused Online English Teachers to join our growing international team. Our classes are delivered live through Zoom and supported by an interactive learning platform available to students 24/7.

About the Role

As an Online English Teacher at Hello Latinos, you will lead engaging live classes for groups of adult and young adult learners at different English proficiency levels.

Teachers will follow the academic structure, lesson materials, and methodology provided by Hello Latinos. The adecuado candidate is energetic, organized, comfortable teaching online, and able to create a welcoming environment where students feel confident practicing English.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and interactive English classes through Zoom.
- Follow the curriculum, lesson plans, presentations, and academic materials provided by Hello Latinos.
- Encourage students to speak and actively participate during class.
- Explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and practical communication skills clearly.
- Adapt explanations to the needs of Spanish-speaking learners.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful virtual classroom.
- Record attendance and basic student progress information.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students.
- Communicate any academic or attendance concerns to the academic coordinator.
- Attend occasional virtual training sessions or team meetings.
- Begin and end every class on time.
- Maintain a stable schedule and notify the academic team in advance of any availability changes.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced English proficiency, preferably C1 or C2 level .
- Strong English pronunciation and communication skills.
- Experience teaching English online or in a classroom environment.




- Ability to explain English concepts clearly to Spanish-speaking students.
- Native or advanced Spanish proficiency.
- Reliable computer or laptop.
- Stable high-speed internet connection.
- Functional webcam, headset, and microphone.
- Quiet, professional, and well-lit teaching environment.
- Strong punctuality, organization, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence using Zoom, online learning platforms, Google Drive, and digital teaching materials.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, TKT, or another recognized English-teaching certification.
- Experience teaching adult learners.
- Experience teaching group classes online.
- Familiarity with CEFR proficiency levels.
- Experience preparing students for English assessments or international certification exams.
- Previous experience working with Latin American students.

A degree or teaching certification is preferred, but candidates with strong English proficiency, excellent teaching skills, and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Schedule

- Remote position.
- Part-time opportunity with the possibility of receiving additional teaching hours as enrollment grows.
- Availability during evenings and/or weekends may be required.
- Teachers must be able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
- Specific class schedules will be assigned according to student enrollment and teacher availability.

Compensation
- Starting compensation based on qualifications, teaching experience, availability, and performance.
- Paid per hour, same rate for a live class or class preparation time. (Flat rate)
