**JOB SUMMARY**
Assist the Component Engineer in sourcing components, gathering and maintaining component data.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Work with Component Engineer to influence customer base to utilize Jabil preferred manufacturers.
- Independently resolve component part number issues as needed.
- Provide component data to all functional areas within the company.
- Maintain component data including the Approved Manufacturer List (AML).
- Continue self-education and functional development.
- Perform tasks as assigned by Component Engineer.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

- Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
