Senior PMO / Program Manager – Retail & eCommerce Technology

KogniVera is looking for a Senior PMO / Program Manager with strong experience leading enterprise technology programs within the Retail and eCommerce industry .

The selected professional will be responsible for governing multiple strategic initiatives, providing executive visibility, coordinating technical and business teams, and ensuring projects are delivered within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of Retail and eCommerce technology projects.
- Establish and maintain PMO governance, standards, templates, and reporting routines.
- Lead steering committees and provide executive-level project and portfolio reporting.
- Manage integrated roadmaps, budgets, forecasts, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Coordinate Product, Business Analysis, Development, QA, Architecture, Infrastructure, Data, Security, Operations, vendors, and offshore teams.
- Support project estimation, prioritization, resource planning, and delivery baselines.
- Monitor KPIs, milestones, critical paths, and business outcomes.
- Manage vendor performance, escalations, and recovery plans.
- Oversee projects from discovery and planning through implementation, go-live, stabilization, and closure.

Mandatory requirements

- 10+ years of experience in Project, Program, Portfolio,



or PMO Management.
- Strong experience leading Retail and/or eCommerce technology programs .
- Proven formal PMO governance experience, including:
- RAID management
- Steering committees
- Budget and forecast control
- Portfolio prioritization
- Resource and capacity planning
- Dependency management
- Change control
- Executive reporting
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and external vendors.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Availability to work 100% onsite in Polanco, Mexico City .
- Acceptance of a contractor engagement .
