As a **Maintenance Technician II**, you will be responsible for performing maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and the installation and construction of production lines and equipment. Additionally, you will handle building and grounds maintenance tasks as required to support operations. This role requires teamwork and on-the-floor leadership to guide maintenance team members effectively.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Adhere to all safety rules, practices, and departmental procedures.
- Perform emergency repair work and ensure follow-through to completion, including working during breaks, lunch, or overtime if necessary (with manager approval).
- Conduct required preventive maintenance (PM) tasks according to schedule.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions and complete necessary PMs.
- Complete reports and forms as directed.
- Manage the acquisition of parts and materials for maintenance operations, with a focus on key areas such as sheet metal equipment, fire systems, security, and HVAC.
- Provide building and grounds maintenance services as assigned.
- Support production line construction, relocation, or modifications as needed.
- Maintain a designated area within the Maintenance Department following 5S principles.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations.
Experiência y requisitos
- ** Technician Diploma** required.
**Technical Skills**:
- ** Electrical**:



Ability to repair, modify, and install AC/DC voltage systems ranging from low voltage (5 VDC) to 220 VAC.
- ** Control Systems**: Knowledge of power supplies, sensors, and PLC systems, with the ability to perform repairs, modifications, and installations.
- ** Pneumatics**: Experience with valve and cylinder repairs, modifications, and installations.
- ** Hydraulics**: Proficiency in valve, cylinder, and pump repairs, modifications, and installations.
- Sufficient training and experience to take ownership of key areas of maintenance operations.
- Basic knowledge of **AMADA** brake presses, turrets, and laser cutting equipment.
- Ability to **weld and cut metals** (brazing and soldering skills are a plus).
