**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Financial Management & Reporting_
- Maintain accurate books for multiple entities, ensuring proper financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards in the US (GAAP) and Mexico (NIFs).
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Work within the ERP system (Odoo preferred) to enhance financial tracking and reporting.
- Accounting Operations_
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Oversee intercompany transactions and eliminations.
- Assist in implementing internal controls for efficient financial processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records.
- Cash Flow & Budgeting_
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Monitor spending and assist in budget variance analysis.
- Assist in operational budget tracking to align with project needs.
- Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Coordination_
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to improve financial processes.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for financial operations in a startup environment.
- Support the CEO with financial insights for strategic decision-making.
**Qualifications**
- Required Skills & Experience:_
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management (startup experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and NIFs accounting standards.
- Experience with financial software or ERP systems (Odoo preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English required.
