**More about the role**
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a **Strategic Buyer Packaging**in **Mexico** with Signify.
- Ensure supplier management for the assigned packaging commodity portfolio, covering supplier development, business reviews, commercial negotiations, contracting, and risk management.
- Support the definition of procurement strategies based on business needs, translating them into actionable procurement plans.
- Support procurement excellence (Value Engineering, DfX conventions, supplier development etc.) within the assigned scope.
- Support sustainability initiatives and their implementation.
- Prepare and share relevant benchmark data,



supply market intelligence reports with internal stakeholders.
**More about you**
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
- Master’s degree in Business administration or engineering degree
- Min. 3+ years of relevant working experience in procurement and supplier management. Experience in Packaging industry is highly desirable.
- Good influencing, negotiation and problem solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Analytical abilities, with experience in cost analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus) and proficiency in procurement tools and Excel.
