We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Sr. Developer
- What you’ll do:_
- Develop and implement advanced data processing solutions using Apache Hadoop to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable data architectures that meet business requirements.
- Utilize Oozie to automate complex workflows ensuring streamlined data processing and task management.
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data processing issues ensuring timely resolution and mínimal disruption to operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of data systems to ensure optimal functionality and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data processing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data security standards and protocols safeguarding sensitive information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document and maintain comprehensive records of system configurations and modifications for future reference.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability
- Drive initiatives to improve data accessibility and usability across the organization




- Preferred experience:_
- Possess extensive experience in Apache Hadoop demonstrating a deep understanding of its components and functionalities.
- Have a strong background in Oozie showcasing the ability to automate and manage complex workflows effectively.
- Exhibit proficiency in data architecture design with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and implementing effective solutions.
- Show capability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model adapting to both remote and in-office environments.
- Display strong communication skills facilitating clear and effective interactions with team members and stakeholders.
- Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with relevant certifications in Hadoop technologies.
