Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections throughout the production process to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop, review, and update quality documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality manuals.
- Train and educate staff on quality standards and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the plant.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management regarding trends, discrepancies, and areas of concern.
- Work closely with regulatory agencies and assist in inspections and certifications related to food safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the food industry.
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards,
and principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.
- Certification in Food Safety or Quality Management is a plus.
