This role is responsible for taking inputs from multiple functional groups and translating them into designs for new or revised turbomachinery components. This role is responsible for supplying CAD models/drawings to analysis, manufacturing, and suppliers.
This position will:
- Create,



interpret, and review engineering drawings (both 2D and 3D)
- Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) practices to help obtain the desired form, fit and function.
- Create layouts as required to convey new design concepts and resolutions to engineering challenges
- Assist the group with other types of document generation (Manufacturing plan models, PPAP documents for MBD parts, Kit models, etc)
