**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and reliable Ocean Specialist to support our Senior Ocean Specialist with the day-to-day management of international ocean freight operations.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Ocean Specialist to support our international shipping operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Ocean Specialist and logistics team to coordinate ocean freight shipments, manage essential documentation, and ensure smooth communication across carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Shipment Coordination**:
- Assist with booking and tracking Full Container Load (FCL) and Less-than-Container Load (LCL) shipments.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth end-to-end transport.
- ** Documentation**:
- Prepare and review essential shipping documents (e.g., B/Ls, packing lists, commercial invoices).
- Maintain up-to-date shipment status and documentation in internal systems.
- ** Communication**:
- Serve as a key point of contact for updates between carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Alert the Senior Ocean Specialist to potential shipment delays or issues.
- ** Data Entry & Data Management**:
- Input shipment data into the Freight Forwarders platform




- Monitor tracking platforms for real-time shipment status and container milestones.
- ** Operational Support**:
- Assist in troubleshooting logistics problems, such as missed cut-offs or port delays.
- Follow up on delivery confirmations and carrier performance.
- Assist in project work as needed.
Experiência y requisitos
**Requirements**:
- 1-3 years of experience in ocean logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.
- Basic understanding of Incoterms, ocean freight processes, and shipping documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point, and logistics platforms (preferred).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
**Bonus (Not Required)**:
- Experience working with logistics providers.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs clearance basics.
