Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Manages the flow of materials to meet the demands of the customer.
- Manages the processes and resources (internal and external) required to produce and deliver the finished goods.
- Assures the supply of raw material and programs short and long term needs to maintain an optimum inventory to meet the production program.
- Optimizes the supply chain through supplier evaluations.
- Maintains relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, customs agents, and transportation companies ensuring their compliance to the organization’s policies, guidelines, and requirements.
- Responsible for the following areas: planning, purchasing, production and inventory control, warehousing (raw material and finished goods) and shipping operations.
- Responsible for product billing.- Heads cost reduction initiatives in the company’s materials.
- Assures the implementation of every applicable control to maintain the integrity of the inventory control system. Shares responsibility with accounting to validate the company's information system regarding accounts payable, inventories, cost accounting, etc.
- Optimizes the performance indicators of the materials such as inventory, turnover, customer service, on time deliveries, etc.
- Formulates, negotiates, and manages the organization’s objectives and budgets, as well as the strategies and action plans to achieve those objectives.




- Validates and authorizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the production and materials control function.
Experiência y requisitos
**SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manages the payroll of assigned team (attendance and punctuality)
- Manages discipline of assigned team (reporting to HR any faults to code of conduct or internal rules code)
- Responsible for the training on job to perform and quality system mandatory requirements of training for the assigned team.
- Manages performance of current position and administrates performance reviews and career path for the assigned team.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s Degree (Industrial engineering, business administration, or related degree).
- APICS or similar supply chain certification is preferred.
- Ideally +5 years of experience in as responsible of planning, purchasing and warehouse administration (logistics).
