**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry Level Accounting Staff member to join our growing team in Tecate or Tijuana. This is a 100% remote position where you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and organization of our financial records.
**In this role, you will**
- Act as a key liaison for gathering missing documentation by professionally contacting merchants and hotels.
- Ensure precision by reviewing charges and accurately recording general ledger entries in our accounting system.
- Maintain a clear, organized database of financial documentation for easy reference and audit readiness.
- Support accounts payable and assist with critical month-end closing tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
**What We're Looking For**
- A strong commitment to accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and polite demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive, lifelong learner who is eager to grow with our dynamic team.
- Experience with accounting software is desirable, but not required—we will provide training.

- A basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Fluency in Spanish to better connect with local businesses.
