**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Lead and moderate DFMEA creation/review meetings.
- Contribute to engineering team problem solving discussions / meetings.
- Train/ coach engineering teams in proper use of DFMEA tools and methodology.
- Create / Monitor / Improve DFMEA templates by product line.
- Review Lessons Learned and validation failures and update FMEA templates to enhance failure avoidance
- Support the design review and approval process
- Collaborate closely with Aptiv’s engineering centers and customers to develop DFMEAs as defined by project scope
- Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturing and quality teams to align with DFMEA methodology and templates with PFMEAs and Control PlansSupport internal / external audits; ensuring adherence to customer specific requirements (especially DFMEA & special characteristics) as defined by IATF

- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly process of wire harness components / assemblies (P)
