Job Title: FANUC Robotics Programmer
Location: Nebraska (On-site)
Duration: Long Term
Job Summar yWe are seeking a skilled FANUC Robotics Programmer to lead the programming, simulation, offline path development, and shop-floor commissioning of automated FANUC robotic cells. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust Teach Pendant (TP) programs, setting up vision guidance (iRVision), configuring safety zones (DCS), and integrating FANUC controllers with PLC networks to drive manufacturing efficiency

• Path Optimizatio
- nProgram, teach, and optimize FANUC robots using Teach Pendant (TP) programming, ROBOGUIDE offline simulation, and KAREL
- .Establish precise Tool Center Points ($UTOOL) and User Frames ($UFRAME) using 3-point, 4-point, and 6-point calibration methods
- .Optimize robotic motion paths, speed overrides, and acceleration curves to minimize cycle times while ensuring mechanical longevity
- .Support high-precision applications including robotic MIG/arc welding, material handling, machine tending, and pick-and-place
.Vision, Safety & • Controls Integratio
- nConfigure and calibrate FANUC iRVision systems (2D/3D) for part recognition, orientation, and automated position correction
- .Setup and validate Dual Check Safety (DCS) zones, including Cartesian speed checks, joint position limits, and safe-zone monitoring
- .Map and troubleshoot Digital, Group, and Robot I/O (DI/DO, GI/GO) across EtherNet/IP networks to communicate seamlessly with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLCs
.Commissioning &
• Line Launc
- hLead offline cell simulation and layout verification using ROBOGUIDE prior to physical deployment
- .Perform on-site debug, motion trace, and field integration of end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), grippers, sensors, and weld controllers
- .Standardize TP program structures, macro routines, and recovery logic to enable smooth operator handoffs
.Qualifications & • Requirement
- sExperience: 3+ years of direct, hands-on FANUC robotic programming and commissioning experience in an automated manufacturing environment
- .Education: Associate’s Degree in Robotics Technology, Mechatronics, Automated Manufacturing, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
- .Technical Mastery
- :Advanced proficiency with FANUC Teach Pendant programming, controller diagnostics (R-30iA, R-30iB, R-30iB Plus), and system variables
- .Proven experience with ROBOGUIDE for offline path generation and cell creation
- .Working knowledge of PLC communication mapping (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 / Logix Designer preferred)
- .Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical layout prints, and pneumatic diagrams
- .Practical Skills: Strong logical troubleshooting abilities under fast-paced commissioning deadlines
.Preferred Qualification
- sOfficial FANUC HandlingTool / ArcTool / SpotTool Certification
- .Formal training/certification in FANUC DCS and iRVision
- .Background in custom automation systems, agricultural machinery manufacturing, or automotive component fabrication
