We are seeking a committed **Senior Data Quality Engineer** with strong expertise in Python automation using the Behave framework to enhance, maintain, and expand our existing regression suite. This suite employs given-when-then syntax to produce SQL queries for testing the integrity of data in Ad Tech workflows. As the data migration shifts from AWS Glue to DBX, you will prioritize the quality and reliability of this process, adapt the suite to align with new pipelines, and resolve technical challenges with mínimal oversight.
**Responsibilities**
- Support and maintain the existing test framework (Python/Behave)
- Fix SQL generator to align with DBX SQL flavor
- Execute regression suites using diverse testing datasets
- Work collaboratively with data engineers and QA team members to validate and enhance the quality of delivered data
- Detect, analyze, and address data dependencies and quality issues in migrating pipelines
- Investigate root causes of data-related defects and coordinate resolution efforts with engineering teams
- Monitor, report, and communicate data quality metrics, defects, and risks to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience of over 3 years in data testing/data quality engineering, data validation, and testing in large-scale data platforms or migration projects
- Background in data testing frameworks, CI/CD processes, and the implementation of DataOps principles
- Expertise in Python and the Behave framework for testing and automation
- Proficiency in Databricks for data integration and SQL query refinement
- Showcase of strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher) with the ability to contribute effectively in a multinational and distributed team
**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of AWS services for supporting data workflows and infrastructure




- Skills in data analysis techniques for identifying critical patterns or anomalies
