SAP PO Consultant

Position Summary

Seeking a Mid-Level SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PO) Consultant with 4+ experience in SAP integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, monitoring, and supporting interfaces using SAP Process Orchestration (PO), SAP PI/PO, and related middleware technologies.

The consultant will be responsible for delivering integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP applications, supporting complex enterprise landscapes, and ensuring stable, secure, and efficient data exchange across business systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and support integration solutions using SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PO) .
- Develop and maintain synchronous and asynchronous interfaces between SAP and third-party applications.
- Configure and support:
- Integration Directory
- Enterprise Services Repository (ESR)
- Communication Channels
- Integrated Configurations (ICO)
- Business Systems and Communication Components
- Develop message mappings, graphical mappings, Java mappings, and XSLT transformations.
- Monitor interface execution and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Support EDI, IDoc, SOAP, REST, XML, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, and Proxy-based interfaces.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and provide integration solution recommendations.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, interface testing, cutover, and hypercare activities.




- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, Basis teams, developers, and external vendors.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Follow ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- SAP PI/PO or SAP Process Orchestration experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture and middleware concepts.
- Hands-on experience with:

- Experience developing and supporting:

- Proxies

- Adapter Configuration
- Experience troubleshooting interface failures and performance issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with general support and project teams.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or SAP BTP Integration.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA integration projects.
- Experience with EDI standards such as:
- ANSI X12
- EDIFACT
- Knowledge of:
- API Integrations
- OAuth Authentication
- Cloud Integrations
- Hybrid Integration Scenarios
- Familiarity with SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework).
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
