Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're looking for experienced security operations professionals to help build and evaluate the next generation of AI systems designed for modern SOC environments. Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic SOC incident and alert scenarios to determine what's happening, why it matters, and what the appropriate response should be
Classify alert severity, identify root causes, and recommend remediation or escalation paths
Review and evaluate detection logic, investigation workflows, and triage methodologies
Validate AI-generated security outputs to ensure they reflect how real analysts think and operate
Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI reasoning in security contexts
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes, and investigation workflows
Able to confidently distinguish true positives from false positives and background noise
Strong written communication skills — you can clearly explain your reasoning and findings
Detail-oriented and methodical in your approach to analysis
No prior AI experience required — your security expertise is what matters Nice to Have Experience with threat hunting, threat intelligence, or digital forensics
Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK;, NIST, or PICERL
Exposure to cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
