Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supply Chain Manager located in Guadalajara, South Campus.
- Reporting to the Sr. Director Supply Chain Management, Strategic Supply Chain Manager role involves directing planning, development, implementation and maintenance of processes & procedures within the organization related to supply chain management. You will manage and oversee the methods and processes in support of both new and existing products.
- What a typical day looks like:
- Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.
- Review data analysis related materials.
- Participate with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
- Direct the activities of supply chain managers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
- Interact regularly with executives, customers and vendors.
- Drive supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial competitiveness.
- Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.
- The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English oral and written.
- Automotive Experiences is a must.
- Project Sourcing and Design to cost.
- Advanced functional, technical, people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
- Detail oriented
- Customer facing (internal and external), supplier negotiation, inventory management, results driven
- Previous customer facing experience is also a plus.
- Project management experience is also a plus.
