Rose Harper Law is scaling its digital presence across four office markets in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and search is changing faster than most firms can keep up with. We need someone who lives at the intersection of traditional SEO and the new world of AI-driven search (think AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity) to make sure our firm shows up, wins trust, and converts when injured people go looking for help.

Rose Harper Law, LLC is a bilingual (English/Spanish) personal injury plaintiff firm licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with offices in Parsippany NJ, Hawthorne NY, Allentown PA, and Hazleton PA. We're a fast-growing, faith-driven, community-rooted practice, and our marketing engine including a distributed LATAM content and social team is a core part of how we reach and serve the communities we work in.

About the Role

Twelve months from now, this role will have measurably grown organic visibility across all our markets and made sure Rose Harper Law is showing up accurately and favorably in AI-generated search answers, not just traditional blue links. You'll work closely with our Digital Content Coordinator and LATAM content/social team, applying both classic SEO discipline and emerging AI/answer-engine optimization (AEO/GEO) practice to a fast-moving, multi-market content operation.

What You'll Do

- Own on-page and technical SEO across roseharperlaw.com and its 13-market city landing pages — audits, on-page fixes, internal linking, schema, and site health.




- Apply AEO/GEO strategies to improve how the firm is represented in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI-powered search surfaces.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content gaps and new ranking opportunities across our practice areas and markets.
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profile pages across all four office locations — listings, posts, Q&A;, reviews, and local search performance.
- Build and execute a backlink strategy: identify link opportunities, run outreach, and track domain authority and referring-domain growth over time.
- Develop and lead outreach for publication and media relationships — guest posts, local press, and legal directories that build authority and referral traffic.
- Coordinate SEO priorities with our social media team so content, keywords, and publishing calendars are aligned across channels rather than working in silos.
- Partner with our content team to brief, edit, and structure blog posts, YouTube companion content, and landing pages for both traditional and AI search.
- Track rankings, organic traffic, and Domain Rating growth, and report on what's working in plain language leadership can act on.
- Stay ahead of algorithm and AI-search developments and translate them into practical changes to our content and technical setup.

What We're Looking For

Required:





- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, agency or in-house.
- Experience applying AEO/GEO strategies or otherwise optimizing content for AI-powered search results.
- Strong working knowledge of on-page, technical, and local SEO fundamentals.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Track record running backlink/outreach campaigns and building relationships with publications, directories, or media contacts.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Spanish fluency is a strong plus given our bilingual client base.
- Comfortable working independently, managing your own workload, and meeting deadlines across a distributed team.
- A portfolio or case studies showing measurable organic growth or AI-search visibility gains (required to apply — see How to Apply below).

Preferred (nice to have):

- Experience in legal, professional services, or another regulated/compliance-sensitive industry.
- Familiarity with WordPress or a similar CMS.

Compensation

Competitive, based on experience. This is an independent contractor position open to candidates residing in Latin America.
