In SSOE Group Mexico we are seeking a
**Senior Electrical Engineer as Electrical Senior Associate in Engineering projects**with 7 or more years of experience in the design of power, lighting, and grounding systems for commercial facilities such as hospitals, airports, educational buildings, and corporate offices.

As a key technical leader within our integrated design teams, you will oversee electrical design efforts, mentor team members, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure the highest standards of technical quality and innovation.

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale commercial projects, including power distribution (medium and low voltage), lighting, fire alarm, data/communications, and grounding systems.
- Perform and review load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, and lighting analysis using industry software.
- Ensure electrical designs align with all applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IES, local jurisdictional requirements).
- Serve as discipline lead on complex projectsplanning tasks, overseeing junior engineers/designers, and reviewing design documentation for accuracy.




- Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to deliver coordinated, efficient building designs.
- Participate in client engagement: define project scope, present design progress, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop or review technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Mentor emerging designers and engineers, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Support project management and business development activities as needed.
- Occasional travel for coordination workshops.

**What You Will Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, electromechanical engineering, mechatronicsor related discipline
- **7 + years**of relevant electrical design experience within the AEC industry, with a focus on large facilities (Automotive Plants, Industrial Warehouses, Manufaturing plants, mixed-use buildings).
- Experience in power distribution, lighting, grounding, and medium and low-voltage systems design.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM coordination tools.
- Familiarity with industry software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, Easy Power, or AGi32.
- Understanding of NEC, NFPA, IES, and applicable energy codes.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
- **Conversational English level (Reporting to US)**
