**Your Role**
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements, execute test cases, manage defects, and contribute to the overall quality strategy. This role requires a solid understanding of the **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)**, strong attention to detail, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
**Responsibilities & Scope**
- Design, develop, and execute **functional test cases** based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects using **JIRA or similar tools**, ensuring proper documentation and resolution follow-up.
- Collaborate closely with **Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders** to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
- Participate in **Agile/Scrum ceremonies** such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support test documentation, reporting, and traceability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
- (Desirable) Support or collaborate in **test automation initiatives** where applicable.
**Your Profile**
- **Detail-oriented and quality-driven** - Ensures accuracy and completeness in testing activities.
- **Strong STLC knowledge** - Understands testing processes, methodologies, and defect management deeply.
- **Analytical mindset** - Able to identify issues, root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
- **Effective communicator** - Clearly interacts with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Basic Qualifications**
- **5 to 7 years of experience** in Functional Testing.
- Strong understanding of **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)** and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with **JIRA** or similar defect tracking tools.
- Experience working in **Agile/Scrum environments** (preferred).
- Prior experience in the **Service or Hospitality domain** (preferred).
- Exposure to **test automation tools** (desirable).
- Strong **communication and stakeholder management skills**.
