Jonathan Engineered Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

In this role, you will support engineering projects for EMCOR in Rochester, Minnesota, USA , collaborating with an international team to develop innovative, high-quality electrical enclosures and 19" server rack solutions for leading technology companies.

Responsibilities

Design custom sheet metal electrical enclosures and 19" server racks using Creo Parametric .

Create detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales teams in both Mexico and the United States.

Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and continuous product improvements.

Ensure designs meet customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and quality standards.

Participate in engineering reviews and provide technical support throughout the product development process.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.





Proven proficiency with Creo Parametric is required.

Experience designing sheet metal products and familiarity with manufacturing processes.

Strong understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).

Ability and willingness to travel to Rochester, Minnesota, approximately one to two times per year.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Windchill or other PDM systems.

Experience designing server racks, electrical enclosures, or other industrial products.

Packaging design experience is a plus.
