OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Agile Project Manager to drive our Agile transformation.
The Agile Project Manager is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), responsible for managing projects, facilitating ART events and processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the successful delivery of value for all IT-related projects and initiatives.
As a seasoned Agile practitioner, you will combine a deep understanding of Agile methodologies with a passion for fostering collaboration, innovation, and bringing products and services to life.
This pivotal role will shape our Agile culture, optimize value delivery, and drive positive change across the organization while leading large-scale, multi-dimensional initiatives that empower teams to achieve our Digital Business Transformation ambitions.A few details about the role:Lead implementation of key IT projectsDevelop and execute on complex project plansPlan, coordinate, and facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, and Inspect & Adapt eventsEnsure adherence to SAFe principles and practices throughout the ARTCollaborate with stakeholders to manage and prioritize the ART backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and value deliveryIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams and ARTsAnalyze metrics and data to identify opportunities for improvement in the ART 's performance and effectivenessProvide regular updates and reports on the ART 's progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadershipResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities will be for all IT-related projects and initiatives:Lead implementation of key IT projectsDevelop and execute on complex project plansFacilitate ART events and processesPlan, coordinate, and facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, and Inspect & Adapt eventsEnsure adherence to SAFe principles and practices throughout the ARTManage backlog and prioritizationCollaborate with stakeholders to manage and prioritize the ART backlog,
ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and value deliveryManage risks, dependencies, and releasesIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams and ARTsEscalate impediments to the appropriate levels and ensure timely resolutionOversee the release management process, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of value to customers. This includes coordinating with teams to plan and execute releases, managing release schedules, and communicating release status to stakeholdersDrive continuous improvementAnalyze metrics and data to identify opportunities for improvement in the ART 's performance and effectivenessFacilitate retrospectives and implement improvement actionsCommunicate with stakeholdersProvide regular updates and reports on the ART 's progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadershipEnsure transparency and visibility into the ART 's workFacilitate product demos to showcase the ART 's accomplishments and gatherfeedbackFoster collaboration and alignmentBuild relationships and foster collaboration between teams, stakeholders, and leadershipEnsure alignment with the organization 's strategic goals and objectivesValue Delivery and Continuous ImprovementFacilitate the flow of value through ARTs, identifying and addressing impedimentsDrive relentless improvement by leveraging Agile metrics and data-driven insightsFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within ARTsCoach and mentor teamsProvide guidance and support to Agile teams and stakeholders in adopting SAFe principles, practices, and mindsetsFoster a culture of continuous learning and improvementProcess and Tool OptimizationContinuously evaluate and optimize Agile processes and tools to streamline workflows, improve efficiency,
and enhance collaborationLeverage Agile metrics and data-driven insights to identify trends, measure progress, and drive continuous improvementRequirements5+ years ' experience as an RTE or Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a SAFe environmentSAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification (SPC 6.0 required)SAFe certifications (e.G., RTE, SM) and project/program management (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) highly desirableExpertise in Azure DevOps (or an equivalent tool) for managing the software development lifecycle.
