Key Platforms
Smart Wind Turbines
Envision’s smart wind platform integrates advanced sensing, digital models and digital twin technologies via the Galileo SuperSense System. Energy Storage

Job Summary
The Installation Supervisor Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating a safe installation of wind turbine generators (WTGs), tower sections, nacelles,
blades, electrical systems, and related infrastructure during wind farm construction projects. The role ensures that all installation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
The Installation Supervisor Engineer serves as the primary technical field representative, coordinating contractors, crane operations, logistics teams, quality inspectors, and commissioning personnel to achieve project milestones within schedule and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)
- Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities.- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, local regulations, and industry standards.- Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments.- Verify that lifting plans, permits to work, and job hazard analyses are implemented.- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action development.
Installation Management
- Supervise the installation and assembly of wind turbine components, including towers, nacelles, hubs, blades, and auxiliary systems.- Ensure installation activities comply with specifications, project procedures, and HSE requirements.- Monitor daily construction and installation progress against project schedules.- Coordinate heavy lifting operations, crane activities, and specialized installation equipment.- Verify work completion and prepare installation progress reports.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate activities between contractors, transport companies, and project stakeholders.- Conduct daily toolbox talks, coordination meetings,
and progress reviews.- Resolve technical and construction issues encountered during installation.- Support logistics planning for turbine component deliveries and storage.
Quality Assurance and Control
- Ensure installation works meet contractual quality requirements.- Review inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality documentation.- Conduct inspections of installed turbine components and associated systems.- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.- Maintain installation records, punch lists, and quality dossiers.
Technical Support
- Review engineering documentation and provide technical guidance to installation teams.- Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and civil interface issues.- Verify alignment, torqueing, bolting, and commissioning readiness activities.- Assist commissioning teams during turbine energization and testing phases.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.- Maintain accurate site records, installation logs, and inspection reports.- Track productivity, resource utilization, and project performance indicators.- Report technical and schedule risks to project management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.- At least 3 years of direct experience in wind turbine installation- Experience working on utility-scale wind farm construction projects.- Knowledge of wind turbine manufacturer procedures (is preferred).- B2 english level
Certifications (Preferred)
- GWO Basic Safety Training (BST)- GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART)- High-voltage switching certification- First Aid/CPR certification- Working at Heights certification- Electrical Safety/LOTO certification
Working Conditions
- Site-based position in remote wind farm locations.- Frequent work at heights and in outdoor environments.- Extended work schedules during turbine installation campaigns.- Travel may be required between project sites.- Compliance with all safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
