The Cutting Manager is responsible for leading and managing all cutting operations for automotive seat cover manufacturing, ensuring the timely and accurate supply of cut components to support sewing and assembly operations. This position is accountable for achieving customer requirements related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity by optimizing material utilization, minimizing scrap, maximizing equipment efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and manage all daily cutting production activities.- Ensure production schedules are achieved according to customer demand.- Guarantee the timely supply of cut materials to the sewing department.- Monitor and improve production efficiency, productivity, quality, and material utilization.- Develop and implement strategies to reduce scrap and optimize material consumption.- Coordinate production activities with Planning, Sewing, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and Maintenance departments.- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and internal procedures.- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other operational excellence tools.- Manage, coach, and develop supervisors, team leaders, and production personnel.- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)



and implement corrective actions when necessary.- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with automotive quality management systems.- Control departmental budgets and optimize the use of labor, equipment, and materials.- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.- Participate in production meetings and provide operational performance reports.- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for cutting equipment.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.- Master's Degree is preferred.

Experience

- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.- Experience in automotive, textile, or sewing manufacturing operations.- Proven experience managing production teams and supervisors.- Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
