About the Role
Grade Level (for internal use): 11The Multi-Asset Indices Product Management team at S&P; Dow Jones Indices (S&P; DJI) is seeking a Senior Analyst to support its initiatives in both the US and globally. This role focuses on developing and managing index‑based solutions in growing areas such as insurance, options overlay, and multi‑asset investment universes.
Team
The team designs strategies for derivatives overlay, index‑linked insurance, retirement, and other multi‑asset solutions, with a global mandate to set product strategy and drive long‑term success.
Role
Support and promote the multi‑asset index suite worldwide, develop new and existing indices (especially in the derivatives space), and shape the multi‑asset business strategy in collaboration with sales and cross‑functional partners. The role blends technical expertise, product management, and commercial insight.

Responsibilities
- Act as a key subject‑matter expert on index methodologies and launch lifecycle, managing timelines and stakeholder coordination.
- Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for new index launches and the existing product suite.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive client adoption and respond to technical inquiries.
- Contribute to product innovation and enhancement, including index reviews,
client onboarding, and landscape analysis.
- Support Multi‑Asset Indices through analysis and content creation for thought leadership materials (pitch decks, blogs, white papers, videos).
- Work closely with the Research and Design team on index design and development strategy, considering market trends and client needs.
- Collaborate with product management peers and support global initiatives.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required; Master’s degree or progression toward CFA charter is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in the index industry, structuring desk at a bank, asset management, or related field.
- Experience with options investment strategies or indices.
- Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills; comfortable with large data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to deliver high‑quality presentations to clients and internal teams.
- Ability to handle high technical complexity and explain it to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of financial platforms (FactSet, Morningstar, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Barra, Axioma) is desirable.
- Programming skills (Python, R, SQL, VBA) are desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong influence and consensus‑building skills.
