Languages currently in scope
Afrikaans, Albanian, Burmese, Fulah, Haitian Creole, Kurdish, Oromo, Pashto, Quechua, Sesotho, Sinhalese, Tatar, Welsh, with more added as projects open. Language fluency is a functional requirement of the recording and transcription tasks.

What you will do
Voice recording
Take part in natural, scripted conversations with another contributor, or complete solo recording prompts
Record clear audio using a smartphone, headset, or computer microphone
Follow recording guidelines so every file meets quality standards
Complete assigned sessions within project timelines
Apply quality-review feedback when revisions are requested
Transcription and review
Transcribe recorded conversations accurately and completely
Mark speaker changes and apply timestamp and formatting rules
Keep transcripts faithful to the audio, word for word
Check your work for accuracy before submission
Apply transcription and annotation standards consistently
Quality and process
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Follow project workflows and quality assurance procedures
Raise unclear recordings or language questions with your project team




Handle project information with professionalism and confidentiality

What you need
Comfortable, natural conversation ability in one of the languages listed
Basic reading and writing ability in that language for transcription tasks
Basic English reading comprehension for project instructions
A reliable internet connection and a phone, tablet, or computer with a working microphone
A quiet space to record
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to complete consent and participation documentation

Nice to have
Freelance, remote, or project-based work experience
Familiarity with audio recording or transcription tools
Ability to contribute in more than one supported language
