About The Role The Product Engineer plays a key role in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing assembly technologies and production processes at our Mexico facility.
This position is responsible for ensuring product engineering solutions meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives while aligning with corporate standards and customer requirements.The Product Engineer partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, resolve technical challenges, and enhance product manufacturability and reliability through innovative engineering solutions and data-driven decision-making.This role is instrumental in supporting successful new product launches and managing products throughout their lifecycle, contributing to the company's long-term operational and business success.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field3+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, preferably supporting manufacturing assembly processesStrong knowledge of manufacturing assembly technologies and production processesProficiency with CAD software and data analysis toolsFluent in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in the automotive, composites, or industrial manufacturing industryKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with quality management systems such as IATF *****Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5 Whys,



or Root Cause AnalysisProject management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teamsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement manufacturing assembly technologies (MAT) to improve product quality and production efficiencyCollaborate with Design Engineering to review product designs for manufacturability and recommend process improvementsLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process issues identified during manufacturingSupport new product introductions by developing process documentation, work instructions, and training materialsAnalyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvementCoordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure component quality and process capabilityParticipate in cross-functional project teams to support product launch schedules, cost objectives, and customer requirementsSkillsSuccess in this role requires the ability to design and optimize manufacturing processes that achieve high standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability.
