**Job Title: Legal Bookkeeper**

**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage daily bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for legal practices.
- Handle journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Manage trust accounting processes in compliance with Law Society regulations.
- Ensure compliance with financial and legal accounting standards.
- Work with accounting software to track transactions and maintain records.
- Organize and maintain financial documentation for multiple clients.
- Support legal professionals by ensuring proper financial reporting and recordkeeping.
- Monitor deadlines and manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven expertise in **Trust Accounting** and **Law Society Compliance**.
- Strong experience in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including **CLIO and QuickBooks Online (QBO)**.




- Familiarity with legal financial practices or prior experience supporting legal professionals.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and clients simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
**Work Requirements**:
- Prolonged periods of computer use and digital data management.
- Ability to review financial documents with precision and accuracy.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing workload independently.
