CAD Designer / Engineer

Responsibilities

- Creating new CAD models of future products;
- Analyzing and modifying CAD models that YFSS receives from customers, suppliers, or other internal sources;
- Creating and modifying DWG files in the proper YFSS- and customer templates, including creating and applying the proper GD&T; for the parts and assemblies;
- Managing CAD data releases in YF PLM;
- Communicating with internal YFITC and customer interfaces/ departments to transfer data.

Qualifications

- 2-year Associates Degree in CAD design OR 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Aerospace from an ABET-accredited university or international equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in product design, preferably within the automotive Tier 1 space.
- Deep understanding in Plastics, Metal Stampings and A-Surface Development.
- Software experience: Design software: CATIA, NX – expert. PLM software: Teamcenter, Enovia, SAP, AGILE – functional working knowledge. Knowledge of design, product change and automotive standard and procedures (FMVSS, Euro, NOM, ASME, ISO, CR-CN, ETC)
