**LOCATION**: Salinas Victoria, Reciente León.
**POSITION PURPOSE**:
This role is responsible for coordinating the technical and engineering aspects of a project from planning through execution and startup, blending engineering expertise with project management skills.
Ensures effective coordination of multidisciplinary teams to ensure the project is delivered timely, within budget, complying with the intended scope, and to the required standards.
The role bridges the gap between design, procurement, and construction, ensuring projects are aligned with company goals and client requirements.
**WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
**
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning.
- Provide on-site supervision during construction, installation, startup, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure that project deliverables either by Unilever or contractors meet technical specifications, quality standards,



safety regulations, local regulations, industry standards and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, Operations, SHE, and other internal functions.
- Review and validate engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Provide and stimulate creative solutions to engineering problems and risks, with rapid mitigation strategies implementation and transfer of best practices.
- Support project manager with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Work to have an accident-free project.
**WHAT DO YOU NEED TO ASPIRE FOR THIS ROLE?
**
- B.S. or B.E. degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Chemical Engineering or equivalent education with demonstrated working experience.
- ** 2+ years'**experience in engineering, construction, project execution and/or operations of a manufacturing plant.
- Professional engineering skills: technical, safety, quality, operational.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
PMI, Agile, Lean, EEM or equivalent is a plus.
- Speak English (B2 level or above preferred).
- Proficient using IT tools: MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Office in general.
